Sin's Facebook Page

Often times, the Holy Bible talks of the outward beauty of the main characters. It describes their countenance as calmly to the eye, goodly. King Saul is said to have been such besides being taller than any Israelite at that time. The same is said about David, though David was an exceptional musician and dancer. He was a true warrior with a heart of a lion.

Saul’s son, Ish-bosheth asked David for a political truce and David could only say, ‘Well; I will make a league with thee: but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou first bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face.’ This Michal was ‘which I espoused to me for an hundred foreskins of the Philistines.’ 2 Samuel 3v15: ‘And Ish-bosheth sent, and took her from her husband, even from Phaltiel the son of Laish. v16: And her husband went with her along weeping behind her to Bahurim.  Then said Abner unto him, Go, return.  And he returned.’

David had an option of marrying every single virgin his land produced, but he chose to get to a married woman who was given away to another man by her father. As a matter of principle, David was right because he married her and paid dowry.  You will remember how he later on married Abigail, a widower. David's appetite for mature women is evident throughout his life.

This went a little too far when King David killed Uriah for his very beautiful wife after seeing her curves and bust when she took a bath. It was in times of political distress, David absconded from going to war, became idle and wandered at the roof top of his house. With all men gone, women were at liberty to lax their bath times and how they dressed. This was an opportune moment for sin to strike and David clicked the 'Like' button.

Eve met the snake that brought the original sin while she was strolling by and killing time. She gave in to temptation by also clicking the devil's fan page. Being idle is the sin's Facebook page.
