Just a 100 foreskins

Cutting a fore skin is a job, but a 100? Quite tiresome, unhygienic and cruel; not for a woman though. David had to meet an impossible end of the deal with King Saul for the marriage of Michal, the king’s daughter. There were not ordinary foreskins. They belonged to the Philistines, champions of war.

2 Samuel 3v14: ‘And David sent messengers to Ish-bosheth Saul's son, saying, Deliver me my wife Michal, which I espoused to me for an hundred foreskins of the Philistines’. David loved his wife that he could have brought more foreskins if need be. He may have needed something larger to carry them.

When faced with challenges in your lives, get up and fight a good fight, the cause you believe. Kneeling down and praying will is not enough. There is always a price to pay for a good thing. Pay it, because if it’s free, it’s fake or will flee. As you make your errands, ask God to be with you and the impossible will be possible, if you believe.

What do you want for your life to change? It will cost just a 100 foreskins.
